Melrose School Committee Member and former Melrose Human Rights Commissioner. EmergeMA Alum. I wear many hats: soccer coach, PTO mom, chemist, avid reader, ardent hockey fan, and general lifelong learner.
I believe strongly in giving back to my community. I served as a Human Rights Commissioner for the City of Melrose.
I believe strongly in improving our schools, not just for my children but for all children. To that end, I served as PTO Co-President during the 2014-2015 school year, and PTO Treasurer from 2013-2014 at Roosevelt Elementary School in Melrose.
My service in education is not limited to PTO interactions: I have also been a high school science teacher and a chemistry/biology tutor for high school and college students.
In my professional life, I work to develop novel small molecules for use in the treatments of various therapeutic areas, most recently autoimmune diseases. I have contributed to a growing list of patents in the fields of inflammation and oncology.
